Happy holidays to you! Christmas is just a few days away and time has flown by this month. I’ve been able to sneak into my sewing room for a little creativity here and there. How about you? I wanted to share this gorgeous collection of fabric, called Sorbet, I’ve been playing with by my friend and fellow Penny Rose fabric designer, Leonie Bateman. I’m all heart eyes for these lovely prints and the colors are fantastic!
Did you see the darling quilt Leonie made with her collection on Instagram? I LOVE the contrast of the black – it adds an extra scoop of pop to the palette!
I’ve been working on some pretty things to show you in the New Year. In the meantime, I couldn’t help but share a little mouse I made for a holiday package topper. It’s double-fun as a pincushion.
I had this mouse pattern pinned on Pinterest for a while and came across it again. I thought it would be fun for a holiday gift. It reminds me of that part in Twas the Night before Christmas, “Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.” The pattern is from the Vintage Scrap Shop blog here if you’d like to make one, too.
I’m not sure if I’ll have a chance to blog again before Christmas. So just in case: Wishing you all a very merry Christmas!! Hope Santa is extra sweet to you this year! Hugs, Elea
What is the name of pattern? LOVE the quilt you made with this fabric.
Hi Debbie – I believe the pattern is called the Musk Sticks by Leonie Bateman and she also made the one I linked to on Instagram – isn’t it gorgeous? Happy holidays to you!
