Need a little sugar with your morning coffee? Sharing some of the inspiration posted this morning over at Penny Rose Fabrics, along with the sweetest introduction to my upcoming fabric line, Milk, Sugar & Flower. My heart is full with gratitude and I think I might just fall over when this line finally arrives!
How darling is this itty bitty retro bikini?! Made with the red floral and teeny blue petals print from my collection using the darling Gidget Bikini Pattern by Ruby Jean’s Closet. Just love this so much!
And oh, I had so much fun making yo-yos with the scraps! I used Clover’s Quick Yo-Yo Makers in small and large size. Then dug deep into my box of trinkets and added vintage buttons and cabochons to the top. These little darlings will be hair pins (or maybe book marks. Hmm … I can’t decide).
This little sunsuit romper is just so stinkin cute! The bunnies and kittens friends print is one of my favorites. This makes me want a little girl! The romper was made with a pattern from Childhood Treasures with a red coordinating fabric from Riley Blake cotton solids.
And, of course these two boys are the icing on my lemon vanilla cake. I made these little red bow ties using the red floral print from my collection. These were so quick and fun to make and required no sewing! I used this tutorial as a quick guide and modified the design a bit using only one bow (instead of two shown in the video) and resized to fit my boys. Their first bow ties, ever. Then I had to pinky-promise cuddly puppy petting and a trip to the ice cream shop in exchange for pictures. Hehe. Sure love these two!
