Hi friends, I have a gift for you today! A little thank you for all your sweet words of encouragement with the new release of Strawberry Biscuit and the recent blog hop with Penny Rose Fabrics. If you now have strawberries & biscuits on your mind, like I do (not just fabric, but the sweet-edible kind, too!), then you might just love this.
I’m sharing a recipe for Grandma’s quick and easy biscuits. I hope you’ll consider enjoying them with your favorite jelly – strawberry, huckleberry, peach – do you have a favorite type? And there’s nothing better than homemade jellies, but if you need a quick go-to at the market, I love the Strawberry Preserves by Bonne Maman, too. Click here to download and print Grandmas’s recipe for your recipe box. Served fresh from the oven with a dab of jelly – Oh my sweet-southern-biscuit …. yum! For a lighter version, try 2 tbsp of apple sauce puree and only 3 tbsp of shortening (Still testing this method – not quite the same as the original version. sigh. Thinking of testing coconut oil next. Thoughts on healthier swaps?).
Lastly … I have one more little gift for you. How about recipe cards for your own treasured recipes, yes? I created a printable of blank recipe card designs for you to write your own special recipes and notes. Mama’s to-die-for chocolate cake, Gwen’s apple pie filling from the potluck, teacher’s day cookie-in-a-jar recipe? Enjoy them with your favorite recipes or print them for a sweet note to gift with a treat. May the cards bring a little extra joy your way! Find the blank cards to download here.
Thank you all so very much for your support and kind words. I’m grateful for this wonderful community. Feel free to share with friends! And you can find a matching button card to print here.
Instructions for printing:
Print card onto 8.5 x 11″ card stock and trim. Double check your print settings are for “actual size” when printing otherwise you may have an oversized, blurry card when printed.
Cheers to baking something sweet! xo Elea
P.S. Recipe Cards are for PERSONAL USE ONLY and not to be duplicated in part or whole for commercial use.

Oh my gosh! Seriously I could live on your site with all these sweet bluebirds, strawberries and happy colours! What a lovely *free* printable!!! 🙂

Thank you for the sweet recipe card and the recipe. Biscuits are one of my very favorite things to eat with lots of jam or honey, yum! I laminated my recipe card so it will stay nice because I know it will be getting used a lot!
I received my bundle of Strawberry Biscuit last week and have just been admiring and petting it. I have not decided which project that I am going to make for sure beings that I have more projects than my fabric will allow, ha, ha! It will be fun for sure!
Thank you for the lovely printable, Elea. It couldn’t have come at a better time. I am doing an on-line swap and one of the items is a recipe card with our favourite recipe.
