Join me for a Quilt Along? Pretty Playtime is here!

Hello, friends! Exciting news to share! Pretty Playtime Quilts has arrived! I nearly tackled the UPS guy with a bear-hug when I saw him walking up my driveway a few days ago with the box holding the book! It’s been a dream of mine to collect the pattern designs in my head and have an opportunity to get them on paper in a book to share – and to finally see the book in print was really REALLY exciting (a sappy, I-can’t-believe-it moment for sure!). I flipped through the pages for a good part of the afternoon taking in every detail. It was fun seeing some of my little illustrations on the pages of the book, too (my little guy thought it was a coloring book. lol). I’m really so overjoyed to share this book with you! There are so many fun projects and unique ways to use the book, including heaps of creative blocks for unlimited ideas!

And wait …. I have more exciting news just announced today! We’re starting a fun quilt along with the Fat Quarter Shop this week! Eeeeks! And I’d LOVE for you to join me!

Each week we’ll be making a new block or section – dragonflies, teapot, strawberries, tulips, a fairy and more – creating one of my favorite quilts from the book, the Garden Fairy Sampler Quilt!! This quilt is such a treasure and includes so many sweet blocks – many of my favorite things all in one quilt. We’ll be sewing it together and stopping by the blogs of some of my favorite quilters to glean some inspiration! Links to those talented ladies below – And I am so honored and over-joyed to have them join me!
