I do. I really, really do … love vintage buttons. I have jars of them scattered about that I go hunting for when inspiration strikes. Vintage glass buttons are my favorite with a close tie to vintage children’s buttons. The colors and details and charm! They just do a little something for my soul – little treasures to me. Some are so precious that I hold onto them for years … waiting for a special project.
Well today I’m working on a special project celebrating the launch of Strawberry Biscuit arriving in stores as early as this week!! Squee! And my upcoming first book, Pretty Playtime Quilts! Eeep! I truly am and over-the-moon at the thought that these two releases are almost here!
I started Strawberry Biscuit this time, LAST year! Can you believe it? I’ve been waiting and so excited to share this collection and book with you and my absolute favorite part … is to hope and dream how they might inspire YOUR projects!! So to celebrate the arrival of Strawberry Biscuit and Pretty Playtime Quilts, I made these little button cards to hold some of my favorite buttons for an upcoming surprise. I LOVE surprises!! But it gets even better ….

I have a little gift from me to you today. My button card is free for you to download here and enjoy with your own button treasures, too! Yep. Yay!! AND keep an eye out on Facebook and Instagram in the coming weeks, too! A little blue bird told me you may have an opportunity to win one of these I made above with some of my favorite vintage buttons (wink). There are lots of other little surprises in progress and can’t wait to share more soon! For now, I hope you’ll enjoy these little buttons cards and share them with a friend that loves all things vintagy-sweet and savors buttons, too!
Instructions for printing:
Print button card onto card stock and trim. Double check your print settings are for “actual size” when printing otherwise you may have a gigantic button card on your hands. lol Then sew on your favorite buttons!
Or for a little extra fancy and sturdiness … take the button card PDF file to your local print shop to print on 3.5 x 2 business cards (yep … that’s the size I used here. Art Size: 3.75 x 2.25, Trimmed Size: 3.5 x 2. The PDF download is in Art size (which means there is .25 of extra white space around the art edges, which helps ensure that none of the illustrations get cut off during the printing process.
I hope my button card inspires you (and please tag me and share if it does)! xoxo
Big hugs, Elea
