I’m overjoyed with gratitude to see the beautiful projects created with Bluebirds on Roses, my newest fabric collection with Riley Blake Design. It’s a dream come true to have some of my favorite designers join me on a project tour to share their creations with this line. I hope we’ve connected on Instagram where you can find sneak peeks of the gorgeous projects from Heidi Staples, Jemima Flendt, Sedef Imer, Lindsey Weight and Faith Essenburg. I’m sharing peeks of the goodness below – but there is so much to see on each designer’s blogs. Take a moment to visit. Grab a warm cup of tea and let’s dream for a while, shall we? I’m also sharing a project I created at the end.
First up on the project tour was the dear Heidi Staples. I’ve been a longtime fan of Heidi’s beautiful work. I was overjoyed to see the darling placemats Heidi made with Bluebirds on Roses. I love how she captured the little details in the hexies. These placemats are so sweet! I’m not sure I could use them. Head over to Heidi’s blog to see all the sweet details.
Next up on the project tour is the talented Jemima Flendt at Tied with a Ribbon. Jemima made my heart skip a beat with her sweet Crochet Trim Blanket. This is a darling pattern by Jemima, available in her shop here. This has me yearning to learn crochet! The trim is icing on the cake! Such a sweet pattern. I love the mix of Bluebirds on Roses in this quilt. Check out all the sweet details on Jemima’s blog here. There is much to see!
Up next on the tour, is the talented Sedef Imer of Down Grapevine Lane. Sedef made two darling projects with Bluebirds on Roses. I melted over her sweet pincushion, a lovely pattern from Sedef’s newest book Zakka Home. I also fell in love with her gorgeous bag with a drawstring cover. These are beautiful! Take a moment to visit Sedef’s blog to see all the photos and oodles of sweet details.
The next stop on the project tour is the talented Lindsey Weight of Primrose Cottage Quilts. Lindsey created a beautiful quilt with Bluebirds on Roses using her new Criss Cross pattern, available here. I have a soft spot for granny squares and this is gorgeous! Lindsey is sharing lots of beautiful photos and details on her blog. Don’t miss them!
The final stop on the project tour was with the dear Faith Essenburg of Sarana Ave. and wow just wow! Faith created a stunning Snowball Quilt with Bluebirds on Roses using a tutorial by Sunny Day Supply available here. This quilt has me mesmerized. What an absolute heirloom! There are so many beautiful details in this quilt, including Faith’s hand stitching – head over to her blog to soak it all in! It’s inspiring!
Friends, I’m always a little sad when project tours come to an end. My heart is full of so much thanks to these special ladies and their beautiful work. Please do take a moment to stop by each blog and appreciate all the love that went in to each project.
I wanted to leave you with one of my recent creations with Bluebirds on Roses. A sweet, ruffly apron with fluttery apron strings. I think it’s a perfect match for the pink Bluebirds and Strawberries print. I used two red vintage buttons from my stash to give it some extra cheer along with some sweet lace I had on hand. I hope it brightens your day! And what a perfect match for the bluebirds wooden hanger I picked up years ago!
Bluebirds on Roses fabric is now available in stores. Thank you so much for joining us on the tour. And a huge thank you to Riley Blake for the opportunity to create fabric and the talented ladies that shared their beautiful work with us all. Much love, Elea
I’m a little sad the tour is over too. So many beautiful projects with your beautiful fabric line!
